Just Jaeckin, a protean man of many talents, was born on August 8, 1940 in Vichy. It was in 1958, during his military service in Algeria, that he discovered photography. He then worked as a reporter. On his return to France, he decided to pursue this activity as a self-taught photographer, collaborating with prestigious fashion magazines such as Elle, Marie Claire and Vogue. For almost seven years, he was busy capturing the most illustrious personalities of the 1970s. Serge Gainsbourg, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Fonda and Sylvia Kristel are just a few of the celebrities he photographed.
