Born in Nice in 1950, Anne-Marie Pécheur lives and works in Marseille.
Her work spans some forty years.
Since 1975, she has regularly produced paintings whose essential preoccupations are the passage (of color) and crossing (of appearances).
Since 1990, the artist has explored a repertoire of forms derived from the plant world: anatomical sections of buds and large plant figures are inscribed on canvas as almost totemic motifs.
